Punkin was surrendered to our rescue by a good samaritan.  She was found by a resident who wanted the 'dog catcher' to come get her.  The neighbor wasn't having it!  She had seen the girl wandering the neighborhood for a couple of weeks and took the time to gain her trust.  She was finally able to pick her up and realized how sick the baby was.  Besides the massive mammary tumor on her side, she had bi-lateral ear infections, skin infection, and her mouth was a mess. She needed a lot of help.  We got her groomed, started ear meds, had surgery and removed the tumor, spayed her, and got her a badly needed dental.

She is healing nicely.

We named her Punkin.

She is shy at first, but after she trusts you, will seek loves and pets.

Punkin gets along with other dogs, but barks at my kitty
