Effective Immediately - Due to limited resources, we will now hold FOUND (stray) dogs for 5 days. After that, they will be eligible for ADOPTION.

Please note that we have no shelter where our rescues can be viewed. All of our dogs are in private homes being fostered until they find their forever home. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application.

Please understand,

Yorkie Rescue Houston has no paid staff. We are all volunteers. We also have families, jobs and lives outside of rescue. We do our best to communicate with our potential adopters, but please understand, we simply do not have the resources to contact every applicant personally.

IF YOUR APPLICATION FOR ADOPTION IS APPROVED, WE WILL CONTACT YOU!

If you fail to provide the information requested (Vet and/or personal reference contact information) YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE DENIED.
