All applications submitted in 2021 have been purged.  You must resubmit your application for 2022

You may sponsor the adoption fee of any eligible dog in our program. Our standard adoption fee varies by dog.  If you want to help a  Yorkie Rescue Houston pet find their forever home, but are unable to adopt yourself, Please contact us to sponsor the adoption fee for someone who is otherwise qualified, but is having difficulty coming up with the fee.

Public Service Announcement:
Effective Immediately - Due to limited resources, we will now hold FOUND (stray) dogs for 5 days. After that, they will be eligible for ADOPTION.

Please note that we have no shelter where our rescues can be viewed. All of our dogs are in private homes being fostered until they find their forever home. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application.

Please understand,

Yorkie Rescue Houston has no paid staff.  We are all volunteers.  We also have families, jobs and lives outside of rescue.  We do our best to communicate with our potential adopters, but please understand, we simply do not have the resources to contact every applicant personally.

If you fail to provide the information requested (Vet and/or personal reference contact information) YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE DENIED.
